Proposed Changes
Hello to everyone,
I would like to propose a slight change in the Actuator Disk with Variable Load function.
The change consists in re-writing the computation of the axial, radial and tangential force coefficients by developing the advance ratio term. In this way it is possible to eliminate the explicit dependence with the free-stream velocity.
Thanks to this change, it is possible to simulate the hover condition (free-stream velocity equal to zero) since we eliminated the free-stream velocity from the denominator.
In addition, we do not need the input of the advance ratio J, but the RPM of the propeller.
This is a draft PR since a validation is needed and will be provided soon.
Regards,
Ettore.
